RedTails lose to Illinois 0-3

The RedTails lost on Saturday, October 19, against Illinois Central College 0-3. 

In the first set the RedTails were able to keep up with Illinois Central for most of the set. Both teams had leads at different times early in the set. Eventually Illinois Central was able to secure the first significant lead with the RedTails trailing 16-20. However, the RedTails were on the verge of another comeback, nearly matching their opponent's score,  only for Illinois Central to call a timeout and successfully kill the RedTails momentum winning the set 21-25. The second set was even closer with both teams being neck and neck up until both teams had 20 points. Illinois Central was able to secure a lead late into the set and held on to it winning 21-25. The third set was not as close as the first two with the RedTails tiring out and losing the third set 11-25.
