RedTail Women’s Wrestling Team Finds Success Over NIACC

The RedTail Women's Wrestling Team traveled to Mason City on January 29 to compete in the NIACC Dual. The team had a successful night, beating the Trojans 33-16. The results from each dual and weight class are listed below:

145 lbs: Maria Sanfiel (NIACC) over Melody Kremer (HAWK) | (Fall 1:51)

160 lbs: Carly Klein (NIACC) over Meya Roberts (HAWK) | (Fall 2:58)

180 lbs: Rory Siems (HAWK) over Emery Hippen (NIACC) | (Fall 2:04)

Coach Dan Lovell had this to say about the meet: "These girls surprise me every week. They are developing as wrestlers and learning how to win freestyle matches. We have a lot of potential in the room!"

The women return to the mat on Wednesday, February 5, when they host the Ellsworth Community College Panthers. The dual is set to begin at 6:00pm.
