Female Athlete of the Week – Makenna Fetters

RedTail Wrestling's Makenna Fetters has been named the Scheels Female Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Midland Open.

Makenna secured a 2nd place finish at the tournament, defeating the #8 and #12 nationally ranked wrestlers. She battled through four tough matches, emerging victorious in three, with her only loss coming against the 4th-ranked wrestler in the country.

"Makenna had a great showing on Saturday. She wrestled tough and fought hard in every match. Her performance proves she can compete with the best," said head coach Dan Lovell.

Makenna Fetters is originally from Indianola, IA.
