Trio Powers Women’s Cross Country at Region XI Championships

DAVENPORT-The Hawkeye Community College women's cross country team had a strong outing at the Region XI Championships, placing three runners within the top 15.

The RedTails were led by sophomore Joanna Topham, who placed seventh with a time of 19 minutes, 55 seconds. Alayna Kollasch placed eighth with a time of 19:59 and Madison Larsen was ninth in 20:36.

The RedTails travel to Garden City, Kansas, to compete in the NJCAA National Championship on Saturday, November 10.
