Women’s Soccer Falls to Anoka-Ramsey 2-1
WATERLOO–The RedTail Women's Soccer team fell to Anonka-Ramsey Community College 2-1 on Saturday.
The RedTails had an early lead after Sara Swialty found Angel Wallukait, who kicked the ball into traffic to put the RedTails up 1-0. In the 67th minute, Anoka-Ramsey's Kati Beckman found the back of the net to tie the game. A Golden Ram goal a few minutes later tipped the scales, giving Anoka Ramsey the 2-1 win.
The RedTails took a total of five shots on the goal, compared to 15 from the Golden Rams.
Up Next: The RedTails are set to take on Northeast Community College on Wednesday, September 26 at home.
