Men’s Soccer Defeats Anoka-Ramsey at Home

WATERLOO–The RedTail Men's Soccer team claimed a 3-0 victory at home on Saturday against non-conference opponent Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

Defensive play dominated the first half, with the game remaining scoreless until Fadel Kabore connected with Charlie Smith for a crossover goal in the 54th minute. Kabore scored his own goal minutes later, maneuvering around the Golden Ram goalkeeper to sink the ball in the right corner, assisted by Cain Smith. William Alvarenga added his own assist driving the ball downfield to find Joao Cabral, whose scored the RedTails' third and final goal.

"We worked very hard on passing the ball and keeping the ball moving," said midfielder Kieren Underdown. "The balls were flying into the net and working in our favor today and that has to deal with our ball movement."

Up Next: The RedTails are set to take on conference opponent Northeast Community College on Wednesday, September 26.
